Last 12 weeks have been nothing short of challenging times for all of us specially first responders and healthcare workers on the front lines.
There are several steps our office has taken to adhere to our new “normal”. Our office has taken on a few new changes in appearance to comply with new safety regulations. We are using our reception area only to check in and check out patients. Patients are not allowed to wait in the reception area to reduce the possible spread of the virus. Patients are requested to wait in their vehicles until they are called in. We have also added plexiglass to our check-in and check-out windows to protect our staff and for patient’s safety. In addition, we have adjusted our procedure techniques and use high speed extra oral evacuator when necessary, to limit aerosolization. We continue to follow the daily recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, Department of Public Health and ADA.

Each doctor and dental assistant are outfitted with a isolation gown, N95 mask covered with a surgical mask and face shield. Proper use of appropriate PPE is how we can best protect ourselves and our patients.
